I worked closely with the producers to create a cohesive feel that translated the in-session feel to on-screen. The Toyota branding and implementation - from on-screen to on-set graphics - created new challenges as we worked around our limitations.
BET Digital created an intimate experience for musicians to come and play their music for a small audience. The room and ambiance was made to feel like a small theater in order to captivate and fully immerse the listeners within the sounds of the artists.
The initial design concept was influenced by signs such as the venerable Paramount and Chicago theaters signage. The Imagine Room, where the acts performed this first season of the show, not only takes on the name of the series, but also adorns an Imagine sign of it's own that extends across it's windowsill facing out over a Manhattan backdrop.
The "G" in the logo is slightly turned to directly reflect The Imagine Room's own signage.
We had very little time to turn around the logo and design, but we worked out a solution quickly.
