There was an opportunity to share deeper, richer stories of Black celebrities and visionaries in a more engaging way. We created an interactive experience using dynamic content and compelling storytelling that invited users to explore their journeys, impact, and cultural influence. The result was a rich, immersive experience that strengthened audience connection and highlighted the influence of these remarkable figures.

Our team worked across departments to help create a campaign that spanned web, social, and video. Under an extremely tight deadline, I was able to collaborate with talented partners to ensure each element, from motion graphics to social posts, aligned with the creative vision. The campaign included a New York Times Square billboard designed by our Brand Creative Marketing Team, as well as supporting digital assets, social content, and promotional materials that amplified the reach and impact of the initiative.

Starting with sketches the challenge was to create an engaging experience that invites audiences to explore the stories of Black celebrities and visionaries. Through dynamic content and compelling storytelling, the team created a new way to view digital magazine covers where users can discover talents journeys, impact, and cultural influence.

THE PROCESS

DIGITAL COVERS

We started with wireframes, and moved on to concepts workign to see how we could keep the digital covers interactive and then scaling the design to fit the project as the design scope evolved. 

Our team looked at naming, promotional concepts and a wide variety of UX and UI concepts that we needed to make sure fit within our technology capabilities.
