I led digital and experiential design for live, high visibility cultural events, translating brand systems into cohesive real-world experiences across platforms, motion, and physical environments.
This work required aligning teams, toolkits, and execution across fast moving timelines while maintaining consistency, clarity, and creative integrity at scale.

THE ROLE

Oversaw teams of designers and motion designers while coordinating vendors and partners across simultaneous event timelines.

Guided the development and application of motion toolkits, lower thirds, live graphics, and sponsor integrations for broadcast and digital executions.

Directed the design and execution of award show websites, BET Experience platforms, and supporting app experiences.

Partnered closely with brand, broadcast, talent, sales, and audience development teams to translate brand systems into scalable, real world experiences.

Managed timelines, priorities, and delivery across high volume, high pressure production cycles, serving as de facto project management when needed.
Role progression: Senior Designer → Art Director → Acting VP, UX & Design, with expanding responsibility across team leadership, systems ownership, and cross functional collaboration.
